BUDGET
This watershed management plan is not program specific. Funding for watershed efforts may
come from several sources. Funding sources may include government and private grant
programs, existing federal, state, and local govenunent incentive programs, dedicated
local fees or taxes, and sponsorship of specific efforts such as meetings, brochures,
tours, and newsletters. Desired future conditions in the watershed may best be attained
through efforts funded, staffed, and participated in by a wide variety of government
agencies, local agricultural dealers, manufacturers, public water users, and other
stakeholders. The responsibility to implement this plan does not rest solely on farmers
and those who own land in the watershed. It is the responsibility of all stakeholders to
assure that this plan is funded and implemented.
