Lake Sediment Surveying

The lake sediment survey was completed November, 1988 at random locations in the lake and major tributary locations. Original lake bottom was recorded with projected sediment levels until the year 2038.

Results
The sediment survey performed by NRCS concluded the lake as a whole has lost approximately 35 percent of its capacity. The average depth was 6.6 feet and average sediment thickness was 3.5 feet.
