Program Funding


The programs of the Indian Lake Watershed Project are activities which produce benefits to the local community including: better water quality, higher agricultural productivity, more wildlife habitat, a stronger tourist economy, and higher property values. As discussed in previous sections of this Long-Range Management Plan, the project has successfully obtained funding for watershed programs, many of which have been completed and several will continue to be implemented well into the future.

The watershed project will continue to seek funding for watershed programs through public and private granting organizations, and other fund-raising efforts described above. This Long-Range Management Plan will be utilized as a tool to prioritize requests and guide the project's fund-raising efforts.
