Current Monitoring

Water Quality Assessment Monitoring
This testing was conducted in 1994 and follows the diagnostic/feasibility study done in 1988 and is part of Ohio EPA's commitment to keep Ohio waters safe. Ohio EPA conducts Water Quality Assessment Monitoring on all of Ohio's water bodies on a five-year rotation.

Results
The data gathered in 1994 is being analyzed and processed by Ohio EPA. The results will be published later in 1996 in the Ohio EPA 305-(b) report. This is the report which Ohio EPA sends to the U.S. EPA detailing the state of Ohio's waters. Once this report is published, Indian Lake will need to work with Ohio EPA to conduct a comparative analysis of the 1989 data and the 1994 data to have concrete results as to the condition of the lake. The data will help the project determine progress in the past five years and areas where work needs to be addressed.
